Club Events and Photos 2019

Well 2019 is almost over and we are now looking forward to our Christmas Party on the 28th December. Its been a great year for events having been to many of our regulars and also many new and exciting ones.

Race night 9th March 2019

This year we kicked off our events with another fun race night, involving food and drink and a night and competitive racing !! Unfortunately, due to unforeseen problems the organising company could not make the event so in true MG and British car ownership we did what is often necessary and improvised !! – so nothing was spoilt and it was still a great night.

 

Severn Valley Railway 14th April 2019

Lovely day spent at the Severn Valley Railway enjoying the nostalgia of the trains of yesteryear.

 

Air Ambulance Visit 17th April 2019

The club paid a return visit to the air ambulance and spent the day with this extremely valuable and life saving service, which is operated by dedicated professionals. We support the air ambulance through our charity events including our annual road run.

 

 

Weston Park 21st April 2019

A fantastic day at Weston Park, with lovely weather and a great turnout, it was superb to see this event returning to its former glory.

 

Catton Hall Classic Car Show 5th May 2019

The weather was a bit dull, however the turnout of both cars and members of the public was good, with lots of market stalls to browse when not viewing the cars on display.

 

Gawsworth Hall Car Show 6th May 2019

A lovely day at Gawsworth with the club putting on a great display amongst the Bluebells, it was a superb day and very busy both with cars and visitors.

 

Rolleston and Dove Transport Show 27th May 2019

A fantastic little car show at Rolleston, well attended and a very enjoyable day out.

 

Whitchurch Car Show 19th May 2019

Great turn out by the club at for the Whitchurch Car show, this was a new event for the club and a nice little show.

Tatton Park Classic Car Show 1-2 June 2019

Great weekend for the club at the Tatton Car Show where we won best club display and Phil Cotton  won a prize for his fantastic Red 1950`s MG TF .

Lymm Transport Show 23rd June 2019

Lovely day at the Lymm Show, weather was good and there was lots of things to do and see, it was a great turn out from the club and it was very busy with visitors 

 

Lichfield Cars in the Park 7th July 2019

Great day at Lichfield, excellent weather and very busy with lots of visitors. Brilliant turnout from the club meant we had to form two rows for our display, also congratulations to Brian Whitehead who won third place at the recent Tatton Car Show for Best British Sport Car.

 

 

Middlewich Car Show 13th July 2019

A change of venue for this years Middlewich show.

 

Apley Farm Car Show 14th July 2019

A very busy and great show at Apley Farm with lots to see and do.

 

Betley Show 3rd August 2019

Another new show for the club, great little show with lost of fantastic cars on display.

 

High Legh Garden Centre – charity day 24th August 2019

Great day High Legh Garden Centre where we put on a small display and raised money for our chosen charities; Donna Louise Trust, Staffordshire Air Ambulance and the Staffordshire Blood Bikers. A big thank you to the Garden Centre and all those who gave generously.

 

2019 Charity Run – 1st September 2019

Another fantastic turn out of cars at our annual charity road run, weather was good and it was a great run for all the particpants who raised money for our charities namely; the Staffordshire Blood Bikers. A big thank you to the Garden Centre. A big thank you to all those who took part and contributed to make this a great success.

 Christmas Party 2019

A bit of a late Christmas party this year at a new and and brilliant venue, the Hunters Lodge in Crewe. It was a fantastic evening, with lovely food  and of course alcohol and the staff at the hotel were very warm and welcoming ensuring a highly enjoyable evening for all.
