Come & Join US
The Potteries and South Cheshire MG Owners Club was formed in 1992 with an initial membership of 3. This has steadily grown and currently we have a membership of around 110, the strength of our club comes from the Potteries and Crewe areas, but we also have members joining us from Sandbach, Macclesfield, Market Drayton, Congleton, Chester and Stafford. Our meetings are held at the Red Bull public house, Congleton Road South, Church Lawton Stoke on Trent ST7 3AJ. It is approximately 100 metres from the Red Bull traffic lights where the A34 and A50 meet. Our meetings are held on the second Monday and last Thursday of every month (except December), they start at about 7.30pm. We always try to keep the meetings light hearted and informal and to foster the feeling of being out with friends for the evening. Our membership own a wide variety of MG’s, ranging from a 1949 TC covering the models right up to and including the ZT. Whilst the majority of members cars are the older style pre 1994 cars, we still encourage and welcome the post 1994 MG’s like the F, TF and Z’s, believing that so long as the car bears the marque of the MG it is welcome in this club. Membership of Potteries and South Cheshire MG Owners Club is open to any MG owner or prospective owner, irrespective of whether you are members of the national MG Owner Club, the annual subscription is £10.00, this covers you for any number of MG’s, and any family members that travel with you. Prospective members are always welcome at our club nights, come and meet us, then decide if you want to be part of this friendly fun loving club. As you will have seen from the events page we are a very active club who enjoy going out and driving the MG’s. In 2007 we have undertaken 54 events, these obviously vary from attending local shows, club road runs, long weekends away in actual fact making the most of weekends.
