Well it seems like an eternity coming, however finally we have started to get back to normality with the car shows and other motoring events opening up again. Please see below the photos and and a summary of the events we attended in 2021.
Capesthorne Hall Car Show 30th May 2021
Our first car show since all the COVID restrictions were applied, kicked off at Capesthorne Hall and what a glorious sunny day it was, with a fantastic turnout of both cars and people. It was so great to get back to normality and see friends you haven’t seen for such a long time and a great relaxing and enjoyable day sharing our passion for classic cars.
Weston Park Car Show 11th July 2021
It was really great to be back at Weston Park and a feeling of normality, we had a great turnout from the club and members of the public, the weather was a bit overcast but warm and most importantly dry, fantastic day out.
Plough and Flail Classic Car Show 20th July 2021
A beautiful hot summers evening saw a great turnout of cars and enthusiasts at this years Plough and Flail Classic Car show, the club put on a good display with Gilbert winning an award for his MG TF and Ian for his lovely MG Midget.
Audlem Transport Festival 25th July 2021
Lovely day at the Audlem Festival, weather was overcast but very warm. After meeting and assembling on the village green and of course a coffee and bacon butty, we had a possession through the village finally arriving at the show ground for a static display. There was a great turnout of cars and visitors to the event.
Mill Meece Pumping Station – 14th August 2021
A lovely day was spent at the Mill Meece Pumping Station, to celebrate the middle boiler successfully passing its “in steam” inspection and raising steam for the first time in 9 years. The weather was dry and warm with a great turn out from the club and other classic cars.
