Pig Racing – Feb 2018
We kicked of the club events with a very non-car event in the form of a Pig Racing Night !!! which was held at the Rode Heath Village Hall. It was a great night of fun and food in the way of pies, peas and mash with a vegetarian option of course and as always a well stocked bar for those that wanted a drink to wash the food down.
Weston Park Classic Car Show – April 2017
No let up in the cool and damp weather as the club attended the car show at Weston Park on the Easter Bank Holiday Sunday, still we put on a good display and made the best of the day and it was nice to see people turn out for the show.
Foxfield Railway Classic Car Show – April 2018
The club had a great day at the Foxfield Classic Car, where we turned out in force, brining with us MG`s from all eras. The weather was great warm and sunny and it was very bsut with visitors who came to see the cars and take a nostalgic ride on the steam locomotives.
Drive it Day and Lunch with Darren and Michelle 22nd April 2018
Well the day started off bright, then the heavens opened so it was hoods up, until we got about halfway round or scenic drive when the sun came out just in time for a great pit stop at the Lady Heyes Craft Centre in Frodsham. We all had some drinks and a bite to eat at the Vintage Teapot Tearoom (carrot cake is highly recommended), in fact the weather was so nice that we manged to sit outside and of course hoods down for the rest of the trip. We finished off at the Fox and Hounds in Middlewich for a tasty Sunday Lunch.
A great day was had by all and many thanks to Darren and Michelle for organising the day !
Capesthorne Craft and Gift Fair May 5th
Well summer seems to have finally arrived with beautiful sunny weather ! The club put on a small display at the craft fair and the crowds turned out, its a great show with lots to see and do.
Catton Hall Classic Car Show 6th May 2018
Another beautiful sunny day, which certainly brought out the visitors to see the range of cars on display. Our club put on a display of cars across MG era. A great day was had by all.
Gawsworth Hall Car Show 7th May 2018
Amazingly a Bank Holiday Monday and the sun still shone ! . The club put on a superb display of cars around the bluebell woods at Gawsworth. The crowds turned to see the fantastic range of cars on display all within the beautiful grounds. A great relaxing day and an oppertunity to top on your sun tan if you hadn’t already got one from the other shows !!
Pinkstones Fun Day 13th May 2018
The club attend a Fun Day organised by our sponsors Pinkstones the local MG dealership on Sunday May 13th, where we put on a display and chilled out for the day in between mooching over the latest cars MG range of cars, the new MG ZS in particular got a lot of attention. Coffee, cakes and biscuits were served courtesy of Pinkstones to keep us and visitors going.
MG Day Froghall Station May 27th 2018
On Sunday 27th May our club organised and hosted a MG Day at the Churnet Valley Railway Froghall Railway Station. Despite the promise of heavy rain and thunderstorms all day we had a fantastic turnout of cars from across the entire history of the MG marque, unfortunately some people didn’t make it due to the weather being bad in their part of the country.
Thankfully the weather held and we had a dry sunny day which brought out the visitors. All the people attending had a free drink and bacon bap as well as ride on the steam train.
It was a fantastic day and many thanks to all the clubs and MG enthusiast who attened and to Churnet Valley Railway for allowing us to host the event. Plus a special thanks to the kitchen staff who coped with the mega demand for drinks and bacon baps
Smallwood Transport Show May 28th 2018
It was beautiful sunny weather on the Bank Holiday Monday for the Smallwood Show, it was a great day with lots of events to see, including a whole range of miniature and full size traction engines on display.
The Tatton Park Classic Car Spectacular 2nd and 3rd June 2018
Another great weekend at the Tatton Car show, weather was good especially on the Sunday which really brought out the visitors. The club put on a large display, which meant we had to be somewhat shoehorned into our patch ! however it was a great couple of days with lost to see and do and a superb auto jumble
Lion Salt Works Northwich – Saturday 9th June 2018

The club had a fantastic day Cosford Air Show on the Sunday, which certainly made up for the very early start ! a superb day with excellent weather and crowds

Trentham Classic Car Show 17th June 2018
It was cool, breezy and a bit damp at this years Trentham show, however we still made the best of the day with a great turnout of cars and we won runner up for best club display ! The trophy was collected by Bob with Mark in his beautiful TF representing the club in the arena.

Burnley Classic Car Show 24th June 2018
This was a new show for the club and involved a bit of a hike up the motorway, but it was well worth it. The weather was scorching hot with blue skies and it was a fantastic car show, with lots to see and do plus a great range of classic cars on display, which brought out the crowds for this charitable event.
Avro show 7th July 2018
A great day at the Avro show, which started off with a Huey and Bell helicopters landing on the field literally yards from where were parked ! It was a lovely day, with lots to see and plus the weather was fantastic. The whole day was capped off nicely by a flyover from a World War II Lancaster Bomber, in fact we were treated to three flyovers !!
Lichfield Cars in the Park 8th July 2018
A literately roasting day at Lichfield Cars in the Park ! the weather was superb and very very hot, it was a fantastic day with a great display of cars and the crowds really turned out, very enjoyable – this event is getting more an more popular every year as is our club turnout with over twenty cars in attendance.
Middlewich Classic Car Show 14th July 2018
A very nice and very hot day spent at the Middlewich Classic Car show, having some shade under the trees was most welcome.

It was a great day at Ashover with a fantastic range of classic vehicles on display, plus a very nice market to mooch around. A very enjoyable chill out day plus a very scenic drive there and back across the Peaks.
The Tatton Park Classic Car Spectacular 19th August
Great weekend at the Tatton Car show, weather was a bit overcast however the crowds and enthusiast still turned out, which made it an enjoyable couple of days.
High Legh Garden Centre Charity Event 25th August
The club put on its annual charity car show at the High Legh Garden Centre, we good turnout from club members and the visitors were very generous in giving to this charity event, which supports the Air Ambulance, Blood Bikers and Donna Louise Hospice. The club would like to thank the Garden Centre Management for providing the facilities for this event to take place.
Capesthorne Hall Classic Car show 26th August
A very, cold wet and windy day put the dampers on the show, however quite a few cars were in attendance and a some brave members of the public made it to the show.
Woodsmoor Car Show 27th August
Slight improvement in weather brought out more of the car enthusiast and members of the public who were able to enkjoy and make the best of the day.
